Anticipation

This woman, and best friend to me and two others, has been by our sides as we all had our children.. I don't think that we could be more elated to return the favor.. to love her baby unconditionally already and give her everything she deserves.. I had the honor and pleasure of taking her photos tonight..although my friend, I feel pressure, I get nervous, and think to myself.. I hope I got a few good shots.. Preserving this special time as she becomes a Mother for the first time means alot to me... Enjoy my friend.. xo

Heirloom Blanket, for a friend...

I have had the pleasure and many, many, many hours of knitting this year.. I completed 2 blankets...Well, I started in November I think. 5 months 2 blankets... I cannot believe it myself.. I vow to do some smaller projects.. This blankets home will be in Utah.. I have made a friend, and upon her request and my offer... Wa La..here is her blanket. My family had a whirlwind trip to meet her last year to have our Family photos taken. This year we are going again, I get to deliver it in person.... and as our host, I cannot wait to hang and see Utah. I hope you love this Blanket and you have many snuggles with your family in it...

Ive been busy...

I am really looking forward to spring and summer but I have to say that this has a been a great year so far... An Heirloom to be...

I was asked by a friend for a friend that is a friend.. ha do you get it... to knit a blanket... I have knit smaller baby blankets, crocheted big blankets but not like this... She ordered the yarn from Austraila, oh yeah and I love new, beautiful yarn... and Wa La... I think it took me about 3.5 months... the needles were not big... I hope you love it as much as I do and you can bet I will be taking photos of the new little Beck with this bad boy...

This was what one of my clients had to say...OMG... I love you! I seriously love you! I don't even recognize myself in some of these pictures. I had no idea I could look like this.

This experience has honestly changed my life and I want you to know that. I wish every mom would have the nerve to do this so that they could feel the way I do when I look at these pictures - like "Erin" again and not "mom". So empowering. I hope you and Dana know that you aren't just taking pictures... you're changing lives :-)

Foster

I have been friends with Erin for 18 years now.. crazy to think that we were 13 and in Junior high... and not a clue.. well we have come a long way, we all kinda went our own ways as we started to grow up but have always managed to keep in touch just enough..

I had the pleasure of photographing her new addition to the family... Foster.. a little boy.. usually I have my kids in tow when I go for a visit but it was just me that afternoon and I got to snap Ellie with her new little brother and have a good visit with an old/new friend... combined we have 4 kids.. play dates are going to get hectic...

I let my boys touch my camera.. I dont hide it or give them trouble if I see them touch it.. I have found that it makes them less destructive and as it lies around the house they hardly notice it...

I am always taking the photos... and still want photos of me with my boys as well as me at this moment of being their Mom...So I hand it over... and this is was we get..

One of my oldest friends got married this winter.. I had the pleasure and honor to photograph it..

We all went as a family to Banff Alberta and stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs.. it was a wonderful weekend...

Adrijana put alot of work into her wedding and had a vision.. I did my best to help her with this.. I was not a bridesmaid but I certainly was an honorary one.. Last minute details with the placement of things, keeping an eye on the clock, taking photos and fixing a last minute seating mishap...

It was a happy wedding and no tears were shed by the bride as she walked at a very fast pace down the aisle... to get to her man... I actually had to ask her to stop at one point.. and the dress.. this was very important.. many months of searching for the right one.. and she was successful...
